In a friendly played today at the MDL, Luke Dempsey saw his Reserve Team draw 2-2 with Navan Athletic. Dominic Martin and Clayton Keegan were on target.
The Under 13’s lost heavily 0-5 to Drogheda Boys in a friendly played in Drogheda this afternoon and Manager Nick Nally will be very anxious to restore his side to winning ways as soon as possible in his preparations for the new season.
The Club Youth Team travelled to play Kilcock Celtic this afternoon and came home with a 1-0 victory thanks to a Paul Genocky goal. Eric Scanlon (pictured below) saved a penalty and on the down side the Club suffered its first ‘red card’ of the season when Eoin Hanson was sent off.
