Three of the four schoolboy teams in action yesterday lost, in a disappointing day for the Club. The U16’s lost 2-4 to Ardee in their League match at Tully Park. Anthony Craig and Alan Douglas were on target. Shay Lee took his U14’s to Kells where lost their League match by the same score. Colm Smith scored both goals. The U11’s were beaten 0-2 at Tully Park by Kingscourt, also in the League.
The only winners on the day were Michael Loughlin’s U15s who defeated Newtown 3-0 at Tully Park to wind up their League campaign. Any result other than a win for Enfield against Newtown next weekend will see Michael’s boys emerge as champions. They are guaranteed the runner-up spot already and congratulations are due the all concerned on a fine League programme from start to finish.

The U13 game against Trim Town was postponed because no referee was available to take charge.

Nick Nally’s U12’s play Carrick away this morning.
