NECSL Under 16 Shield
Kentstown 0 - 1 Trim Celtic
Halftime 0 - 0

Trim Celtic scorer: Alan Douglas
Trim Celtic defeated Kentstown in the Shield on Saturday after a fine team performance that saw them avenge their cup defeat to same opposition last week. Sixteens Win but Elevens Lose

The under 16’s enjoyed a huge measure of satisfaction this afternoon when they came away from Kentstown with a fine 1-0 win in their Shield match. This was an impressive result after their recent 0-3 beating in the Cup at the hands of the same side. The goal was an OG.

[photopress:mini_11HomeTrimTown0012_1.JPG,thumb,alignleft]Unfortunately the under 11’s suffered another deafeat on their travels away to Kells when they went down 1-3 with Conor Henebery on the mark. However assistant manager Michael Johnston (pictured) was still pleased with the overall performance.
