Despite a great come-back by the Club’s Under 9 Eagles (pictured above) managed by Peter Callaghan, they failed to win the MDL Mini League U9 Shield against Trim Town this evening at the MDL. Having gone behind to two penalties the boys fought back to level the scores with two fine goals by Marc Kane to Peter Gavin to take the game to extra time. A golden opportunity was spurned when a penalty was missed and with time runnng out the opposition scored the winning goal. Well done nonetheless to all concened.

Tomorrow night at the MDL, the Club’s Under 8 Tigers hope to complete a hat-trick of MDL Mini League titles for the Club when they take on Villa Vikings, kick off 6.45pm.
