The Under 12’s (playing in blue because of colour clash) this morning defeated Swords Rovers 3-2 on penalties to go through to the next round of the SFAI Cup, after having come from behind in normal time to draw 1-1. Extra time produced no more goals. Scorers from the spot in the shoot out were (pictured from left to right above) Ciaran Fitzsimons, Daniel O’Byrne and James Toher but the hero was keeper James Mitchell (also pictured) who saved the last vital penalty to win the tie. Sam Millen was on the mark during normal time when he converted a second half penalty. Next up are Kentstown at home next weekend.
