This was a very evenly balanced game with the Pumas twice taking the lead. Charlie Ennis scored on his debut with Adam Sheehan scoring a second. Despite the rain and difficult conditions this was an allround good team performance. Best for Trim Celtic Pumas were Charlie Ennis, Fintan Devlin and Keane Geraghty

Fintan McLaughlin started the season the way he finished the last with a goal. Mikey Cullen and Adam Sheehan both scored on their debuts in an encouraging start for the Pumas.
