The draw for the first two rounds of the Statoil F.A.I. Junior Cup was made on Tuesday the 30th of August 2005 in the offices of the Football Association of Ireland. This year a total of 624 teams have entered and every one will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year’s winners Westport Utd.

The Club has been drawn at home against MDL Premier Division side Albion Rovers. Manager Alan Kirwan (pictured) is already making plans and hoping to better the run that his side enjoyed last year in what is understood to be the largest Junior knock-out competition in European football. The game against Albion is scheduled for the frst weekend in October.
